Standard optimization
For stores that need a review of loading performance and practical improvements to the existing theme.
- Review images and use lazy loading where appropriate.
- Review CSS and JavaScript, including minification where it is useful.
- Check app scripts and identify unnecessary code or loading overhead.
- Review preloading, loading errors and slow requests.
- Provide a report explaining the work and the before-and-after findings.
Advanced optimization
Includes the standard work, plus a deeper investigation of performance issues, Google PageSpeed Insights optimization and a Core Web Vitals assessment.

How we measure improvement
We compare the same agreed pages before and after the work, using consistent mobile and desktop test settings. The report separates PageSpeed Insights lab results from real-user Core Web Vitals data, where that data is available.
Scores can vary between tests. Your theme, required apps, tracking scripts, content and third-party services all affect performance. We agree realistic targets after reviewing the store; we do not promise a fixed score or a particular increase in sales or search rankings.
Scope and delivery
We confirm the pages, planned changes and delivery schedule before work starts. We check the affected shopping flows before release. Any proposed app removal or change to tracking needs your approval.
A redesign, new functionality, paid app or theme licences, and work outside the agreed scope are quoted separately. Shopify's hosting and third-party app services are outside our direct control.
