FOLK KOMBUCHA
A journal from the brewery.
Folk Kombucha brings the craft of fermentation to Copenhagen. For its first journal, the brief was to carry that same visual world into the inbox: expressive blue, precise typography, generous photography and room for the stories behind each bottle.
Working from Folk’s creative direction and feedback, ZAGO developed the newsletter template in Klaviyo and explored a matching signup experience. The focus was a reusable foundation for future editions.

THE SIGNUP EXPERIENCE
An invitation to stay close.
The signup design extends Folk’s fermentation imagery into a simple invitation to the journal. We explored the signup and thank-you states together, with layouts for desktop and mobile.
The screen shown here is part of that design development. Folk later refined and published its final signup experience.
Ready for Folk to make it their own.
We developed the HTML template, refined image alignment and spacing, and prepared editing guidance for the next edition. Nina then brought in the final stories and photographs and made the final desktop and mobile adjustments.
The result is a newsletter format that gives Folk’s voice and visual identity room to lead.
