SHOPIFY B2B DEVELOPMENT & MIGRATION

Change the way you sell B2B.

Move from emailed orders, spreadsheets and disconnected portals to a Shopify store where business customers can buy on their terms.

ZAGO designs and develops B2B stores on Shopify and Shopify Plus. Launch wholesale, add it to your consumer store or move from another platform with a clear plan for your buyers and your business.

A better buying experience changes the working day.

Buyers can order when they are ready

Give customers their own login, the right product range and agreed prices. They can place an order when they need it, without waiting for your team to reply.

Sales teams have more time to sell

Let customers handle routine repeat orders themselves. Your sales team can spend more time helping with product choices, larger orders and new accounts.

Your agreements reach the checkout

Bring price groups, pack sizes and payment terms into the buying journey. Buyers can see the rules that apply to them before they place an order.

Your operations can keep up

Plan how orders reach your business systems as volume grows. A connected workflow can reduce the retyping and checking that slow your team down.

Where do you want to take your B2B business?

Build your B2B store

Turn wholesale handled by email or a sales team into an online buying experience. We plan the store, configure the B2B features and develop the ordering journey around your customers.

Move your B2B business to Shopify

Replace a difficult wholesale portal or an ecommerce platform your team has outgrown. We map your data, pricing and integrations, then build and test the new experience before the move.

STANDARD SHOPIFY OR SHOPIFY PLUS

Choose the capabilities your business needs.

You can build B2B on Shopify Basic, Grow, Advanced or Plus. The right choice depends on how many price groups you have, how individual your customer agreements are and how you need to collect payment.

We help you choose the plan and turn its features into a working store. Advanced and Plus also support storefront and checkout experiences tailored through Shopify Markets.

What can you do on each plan?

B2B on standard Shopify

For businesses ready to put wholesale online with a manageable set of shared price groups. Available on Basic, Grow and Advanced.

  • Company accounts, multiple locations and buyer permissions.
  • Up to three active catalogs across B2B markets, using the new Shopify Markets.
  • Minimums, maximums, pack increments and volume price breaks.
  • Net payment terms and payment reminders.
  • Purchase order numbers, orders submitted for review and easy reordering.
  • Quick-order lists in a compatible theme and Shopify Flow automations.

A practical starting point when groups of buyers share the same range and pricing.

B2B on Shopify Plus

For businesses with more individual customer agreements and more complex payment needs. Includes the standard B2B capabilities, plus:

  • Unlimited B2B market catalogs.
  • Catalogs assigned directly to a particular company or company location.
  • Customer-specific product ranges and negotiated catalog prices through those assignments.
  • Required deposits.
  • Partial payments.
  • Payment requests tied to each fulfillment.

A stronger fit when individual accounts need their own commercial setup. We map those requirements before recommending Plus.

One store for retail and wholesale, or a dedicated B2B store?

Bring B2B into your existing store

Keep one brand experience when the product range is mostly shared. Consumers shop as usual. Business buyers sign in for their catalogs and terms, while your team manages both in Shopify.

Build a dedicated wholesale store

Give business buyers a store designed around their needs when the range, navigation or brand experience must differ. We plan the extra administration and system connections from the start.

COMPANY ACCOUNTS & BUYER ACCESS

Give every buyer the right access.

A customer may have several branches, delivery addresses and people placing orders. Company accounts bring that structure into the store, so each buyer can access the locations and order history they need.

We configure companies, location permissions and sales staff access around your relationships. Your team can support customers without handling every routine order for them.

CATALOGS, PRICES & QUANTITY RULES

Make agreed pricing part of every order.

Give buyers the right range and prices as soon as they sign in. Catalog pricing, volume breaks and pack increments help customers order correctly without a separate price sheet beside them.

Standard Shopify supports shared catalogs through B2B markets. Plus adds direct company and location assignments for individual agreements. If your ERP calculates the price, we define how it reaches Shopify and when it updates.

PAYMENT TERMS & ORDER REVIEW

Let customers buy on the terms you have agreed.

Offer payment upfront or net terms at company-location level. Capture purchase order numbers and, where needed, have orders submitted for review before they are confirmed.

Plus adds deposits, partial payments and payment requests per fulfillment. We connect the buying experience to the invoice process your finance team uses, with any ERP handoff defined in the scope.

QUICK ORDER & REPEAT BUSINESS

Make it easy to come back and order again.

Your regular buyers already know what they need. Let them reorder from their history or use a quick-order list to choose products and quantities without opening every product page.

We develop the flow in a compatible theme and test it against real repeat orders, including pack sizes and quantity rules. Customers get a simpler way to replenish, and your team has fewer routine orders to enter.

CONNECTED OPERATIONS

Keep orders moving beyond checkout.

A better storefront should also make life easier for the team behind it. We work with Fortnox, Visma and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central to plan the connection between buying, order handling and accounting.

We confirm which customer and company details, products, prices, stock, orders and invoice or payment statuses your connector supports. The scope names the records, their source system, update direction and how failures are handled.

For stores serving consumers as well, Klarna and Swish sit in the consumer checkout scope. They are separate from your B2B invoice and net-term setup.

REPLATFORMING TO SHOPIFY

Move the business forward with a planned migration.

Your customers should recognise the way they trade with you in the new store. We start with the product data, company structure, price agreements and order journeys that the move needs to preserve or improve.

Then we confirm what can be transferred, what needs rebuilding and which integrations must be ready. Data mapping, redirects and customer onboarding are included where relevant to the agreed migration scope.

You review the new store in a development environment. We test representative buyers and orders with your team, then agree the launch sequence and handover.

From the first conversation to a store your team can run.

01 / Plan the business change

Discovery gives you a requirements map, a plan and store recommendation, an integration record map, and a defined build or migration scope. You know what we are building and how we will check it.

02 / Design & develop

We build the buyer experience in a test theme or development environment. Your team reviews the design, company setup, pricing and ordering flow before customers use it.

03 / Test real buying scenarios

We check representative companies, permissions, catalogs, terms and reorders, plus the agreed data and system handoffs. Your team helps confirm the store is ready to trade.

04 / Launch & hand over

We agree the release plan, train your team and provide setup notes. Support, integration monitoring and further improvements have clear owners and an agreed scope.

YOUR B2B PROJECT / QUESTIONS ANSWERED

Planning a B2B build or a move to Shopify?

Start with how your customers buy today. We help you turn the accounts, agreements and systems behind each order into a store your team can run.

No. Basic, Grow and Advanced include core B2B features, with up to three active B2B market catalogs using the new Shopify Markets. Plus adds unlimited catalogs, direct company assignments and advanced payment options. We recommend a plan after reviewing how you sell.

Yes. We plan, design and develop the store, from company access and catalogs to the ordering journey and agreed integrations. You review it in a development environment before we prepare it for launch.

Yes. We start by reviewing the current platform, data, pricing rules and connected systems. Discovery establishes what can be migrated, what needs to be rebuilt and how buyers will move to the new store.

Yes. A shared store can serve consumers and signed-in business buyers. We recommend a dedicated B2B store when its buyers, range or experience need enough separation to justify the extra administration.

Buyers see the catalogs available to their company location. Standard plans use B2B market catalogs; Plus also allows direct company assignments. Net terms can be set at location level. We map ERP pricing and invoicing separately where those systems own the process.

We work with Fortnox, Visma and Business Central, plus Klarna and Swish for consumer checkout where relevant. Discovery confirms the connector, supported records and direction of each update. Each connection has a defined scope.

Yes. We plan catalogs, currencies, languages, taxes and delivery for the markets you serve. We also check catalog limits and whether you need the contextual storefront and checkout features available on Advanced and Plus.

We train your team to manage companies, catalogs and routine orders, and hand over the setup. Ongoing support, integration monitoring and further development are agreed with clear responsibilities.
